Its Trade Fairs season again at Puckator and they are some of the most crucial events of the year for us, and many businesses. They are an opportunity to showcase our new seasons range, meet our on-the-road sales team, and catch up with existing customers while introducing new customers to our collections.
We attend dozens of fairs across Europe each year, this Spring we attended over 20!. The two busiest seasons for us are the Spring Fairs, mainly held in January and February, and the autumn fairs, taking place between September and October. These four months see a significant increase in workload, but the effort extends beyond this period. Each fair requires extensive preparation, time, and dedication. Therefore, a specialized team is essential to shape each event and ensure Puckator meets all our clients' expectations.

From meticulous planning to engaging presentations, our team members work tirelessly behind the scenes to create memorable and impactful experiences. Kym Wain
Introducing Kym Wain, an experienced member of our tradeshow team based in our office in Cornwall, UK. Kym plays a pivotal role in coordinating and communicating across various departments to ensure the seamless execution of our tradeshow seasons. This Autumn, Kym and the team are gearing up to showcase a vast array of products for Spring and Summer 2025 at key shows across Europe. Her role involves extensive coordination between suppliers, buyers, and tradeshow team members like Danuta and Matt, who you will meet below.
Kym also collaborates closely with the sales and design teams to determine the best products to display at each show. The dynamic nature of her job, with its constant back and forth, means she’s at the heart of our team. Her favourite moment? That magical point just before the shows open, when she sees everything and everyone perfectly in place, ready to impress with our amazing range of products.
Maitane Vea
Meet Maitane Vea, a seasoned member of the Puckator team who recently joined the tradeshow team to bring her extensive experience to a new role. Based in our Spanish office in Valencia, Maitane’s background in sales, social media, marketing, and administration makes her exceptionally organized and detail oriented. She plays a crucial role in ensuring everyone gets to the right place for the shows and that accommodations are arranged for the setup, sales, design, and breakdown teams. While challenging, Maitane finds this responsibility incredibly satisfying, balancing it seamlessly with her other duties. Alongside this, she works closely with Kym and Luc coordinating all the elements of the team and then reporting on the post fair analysis.
Looking at the coming Autumn Fairs, Maitane is particularly excited about the upcoming Intergift show in Madrid, where Puckator's products have always been a customer favourite. We are all eagerly anticipating the reaction to the new 2025 ranges that will be showcased for the first time.
Luc Verdin
Say hello to Luc Verdin, who joined Puckator just under a year ago and has quickly settled in as the manager of our Paris Showroom at Homexpo. Despite being relatively new to the company, Luc has seamlessly integrated into the team, focusing on developing sales in the showroom and assisting with translations for our French department. In addition to these responsibilities, Luc is part of our exhibitions team, booking shows and the behind-the-scenes detail such as dealing with contractors and booking the best stand location with the exhibition centres, all essential for the smooth running of the shows.
The Paris Showroom at Homexpo has been a fantastic addition to our permanent show spaces, providing a convenient location for French and international customers to explore our extensive range of products. The showroom is open for visits year-round, but we also host special open events during the year, featuring exclusive offers and goodies. Be sure to visit Luc at our next event this Autumn, from September 2nd to 13th!
Matt Stead
Meet Matt Stead, a dedicated and seasoned member of our tradeshow team. Based at our head office and warehouse in Cornwall, located in the picturesque Southwest of England, Matt is a key member of our tradeshow preparations team. His day-to-day role involves sorting, categorizing, and preparing the samples and stock we send to shows.
From receiving samples from our Chinese suppliers to labelling and packing them for dispatch, either directly to the shows or to our European Distribution Centre in Poland, he ensures everything runs smoothly and although we're taking a break from exhibiting in the UK this Autumn, Matt remains busy, as many samples for our European shows pass through our UK warehouse. Passionate about travel, Matt is always excited to head to one of our international shows to assist the design and sales team with the setup and breakdown.
Danuta Wagus
Introducing Danuta Wagus, one of the newest members of the Puckator team, based at our European Distribution Centre (EDC) in Wroclaw, Poland. Danuta joined our tradeshow team to handle the crucial tasks of processing, labelling, and packing tradeshow samples and stock for our European shows. Since the EDC was established three years ago, it has significantly boosted our presence across Europe, enabling us to showcase our extensive collection of over 3,000 products in more countries and locations, including pop-up showrooms.
This Autumn, Danuta will be busy with multiple shows in five different countries: Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy. While she enjoys organizing all the samples, last-minute changes can be a challenge. Nevertheless, she finds the effort worthwhile, especially when all the stock returns, and she gets to sort and organize it back into the samples area of the warehouse—a task she finds immensely satisfying. Danuta's meticulous work ensures our products shine at every European tradeshow we attend.
